Bali Hidden Canyon
The beji of Guwang Village, or now it is more known as Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon is located in Village of Guwang, Sukawati District in Gianyar, about 25 kilometers east of Kuta.

Beji -in Balinese word means naturally formed fountain that underwent purification process and became a sacred site for the villagers dwelling in the area. It is an approximately 700 meters walks through the massive rocks structure under the light vegetation.

In the past the water from this site was used by the locals as meditation spots and until this day, still serve as the place where villagers take water from it to be used as one of important ceremony element.

Beji Guwang is a meandering river with stone walls that formed and beautifully patterned by river water erotion for hundreds of years to create a masterpiece that makes everyone amazed.

There are also smaller 'ponds' with clear waters at some places where you can swim and embraced by the natural structure.

Safety

Since the canyon is totally natural, the site conditions is of course unpredictable. In rainy days where flooding often happens in lower areas, the water level in the canyon can be as high as 5 meters.

Yet you do not have to worry because the water in the river uphill is controlled by a dam and a 24/7 staff will monitor the water level all the time to ensure visitors safety.
